The Botanical Kitchen:Food As Medicine

Hi everyone, Shauna here!

Today I want to introduce to you a website/ membership I found recently that has been a game cahnger in my own personal diet, but I think will be a great resource for you as weel if you are looking to improve your diet and health. If you are a member here...you are probably looking to do just that!


If theres something you should know about me, its that I do NOT GATEKEEP! If i love sometihng, I will share it regardless of if i get anything from it besides making myself happy so that is what I am doing today.


The website is called Botanical Kitchen and it was created by Karina Hines who is a chef, functional nutrition practitioner, herbalist and even more so this website is such a wonderful and useful tool to get anyone started on a path to making healthier food.


She focuses on food quality, anti-inflammatory ingredients, and nutrients just like I teach here, so I feel it would be a helpful tool to share with my members as well.


I will be sharing some of her free recipes here on NBW, but if you like her work she also has a plant based and an omnivore membership option to join and get weekly meal plans and stuff like that.
